Frequently Asked Questions (Tuners)
Will a tuner void my warranty?
It depends.
- Flash Tuners (Diablo): If you overwrite the ECU, the dealer can see the "flash counter" has changed, even if you return it to stock. They can use this to deny a powertrain claim.

Inline Modules (Pulsar/Pedal Commander): These do not overwrite the ECU. If you remove them before service, they are generally untraceable and safer for warranty concerns.
Why do I need to swap my PCM on a 2015+ RAM?
Starting in 2015, Chrysler added military-grade encryption to the engine computers. A standard handheld tuner cannot "break in" to write new files. Companies like DiabloSport solved this by offering "Modified PCMs" that have the encryption removed. You swap your stock unit for their unlocked one, allowing you to tune the truck.
Can I turn off the MDS (4-Cylinder Mode)?
