Verified Fitment Guide

• Installation (No Cutting Required):
  • Good news: The factory Bronco muffler connects to the rest of the system with a simple clamp just behind the rear axle. Most axle-back kits are 100% bolt-on. You simply loosen the clamp, drop the heavy factory unit, and bolt the new one on.
    
• Engine Compatibility:
  • 2.3L I4 & 2.7L V6: Most axle-backs fit both engines because the piping diameter and hanger locations are identical at the rear.
  • Bronco Raptor: Does NOT fit. The Raptor uses a unique dual-valve setup.
    
• Body Style (2-Door vs. 4-Door):
  • Since the "Axle-Back" section is behind the rear wheels, the wheelbase difference (which affects the mid-pipe) usually doesn't matter. Most axle-back kits fit both 2-Door and 4-Door models without modification.
• Clearance Styles:
  • High-Tuck / Muffler Delete: Replaces the large muffler with a straight pipe or tiny resonator. Maximum clearance for rock crawling.
  • Standard Exit: Uses a traditional muffler and visible exhaust tips (Chrome or Black) exiting the rear. Best for street looks.
