Verified Fitment Guide

• Engine Size (CRITICAL):
  • Tunes are strictly engine-specific. A device programmed for the 2.3L Inline-4 will absolutely not work on the 2.7L V6 or the 3.0L Raptor. Verify your engine displacement before ordering.
• The Warranty Route (Ford Performance ProCal):
  • The official Ford Performance ProCal 4 calibrator adds massive mid-range torque and optimizes the transmission shift schedule.
    
  • The Ultimate Benefit: If installed by a Ford dealer or an ASE-certified technician, it retains a 3-year/36,000-mile powertrain warranty.
• The Enthusiast Route (COBB Accessport):
  • The COBB Accessport V3 is the gold standard for aftermarket EcoBoost tuning. It mounts to your dash to display live gauges (boost, temps, etc.) and allows you to flash aggressive Off-The-Shelf (OTS) maps or get custom pro-tunes. Note: Aftermarket tunes carry standard powertrain warranty risks.
• Tire Size & Gear Ratio Calibration:
  • Both Ford Performance and COBB devices allow you to input your new tire size (e.g., 35s or 37s) and any aftermarket axle gear ratios (e.g., 4.70 or 5.38). This permanently corrects your speedometer and tells the 10-speed transmission exactly when to shift.
