• Engine Compatibility:
  • 2.3L & 2.7L EcoBoost: All throttle controllers (Banks, Pedal Commander, Soler) fit both engines. They plug directly into the gas pedal assembly.
  • Bronco Raptor (3.0L): Requires a specific unit. Please check the dropdown menu.
• Controller vs. Tuner (Know the Difference):
  • Throttle Controller (PedalMonster/Pedal Commander): DOES NOT add horsepower. It only removes the delay in the pedal. Leaves no trace on the ECU and does not void warranty.
  • Tuner (Ford Performance/JB4): Adds horsepower and torque and improves throttle response. May impact warranty if not installed by a dealer.
• Safety Features:
  • Reverse Safety: The Banks PedalMonster is the only unit that reads your gear. When you shift into Reverse, it automatically returns the throttle to stock sensitivity so you don't rocket backward out of a parking spot.
  • Bluetooth App: Most modern units (Banks, Pedal Commander, Soler) allow you to hide the module under the dash and control the sensitivity wirelessly from your phone.
