Will a tuner void my warranty?
It's complicated.
- Flash Tuners (COBB/SCT): If you blow an engine and the dealer sees the ECU was flashed, they can deny the claim.

Inline Tuners (Pulsar/JB4): These plug into sensors and "intercept" the signal. If you remove the device before going to the dealer, it is very difficult for them to detect it was ever there.
- Ford Performance Tune: This is the only tune that retains a 3-year/36k-mile factory warranty (if installed by a dealer).
- Why do I need a Catch Can?
The Bronco engines are Direct Injection. This means fuel is sprayed directly into the cylinder, bypassing the intake valves. In older engines, fuel washed the valves clean. In the Bronco, oil vapors (blow-by) stick to the dry valves and bake into hard carbon deposits ("gunk"). A Catch Can traps this oil mist before it enters the intake, keeping your engine clean and running smooth for the long haul.
Does a Cold Air Intake actually add power?
Modest amounts. On a stock Bronco, a Cold Air Intake (CAI) adds a small amount of power (5-10 HP) and improves throttle response. However, the real benefit is the Sound. A CAI allows you to hear the turbo spool (whistle) and the blow-off valve (whoosh), which the restrictive factory airbox muffles completely.
