You are ready to upgrade the lighting on your 2021–2025 Ford Bronco. You’ve seen those awesome "Triple Fog Light" setups on Instagram—the ones with three Baja Designs pods packed into the bumper corner.
You go to buy a kit, and the dropdown menu asks: "Do you have the Modular or Capable bumper?"
If you answer wrong, the brackets won't fit, and you'll be stuck paying return shipping.
Ford made it confusing by offering two different steel bumpers that look somewhat similar from a distance.

The Modular Bumper has exposed bolt heads and removable end caps. (This is the one that fits the Triple Kits).
- The Capable Bumper is smooth, painted steel with no visible bolts.

Frequently Asked Questions (Fog Lights)
Can I use my factory fog light switch?
Yes, with adapters. Many kits (like those from Diode Dynamics) include plug-and-play adapters that allow your new SAE Fog lights to turn on with the factory fog switch on the headlight dial. However, for the extra "Off-Road" lights in a Triple Kit, you will need to wire those to an Aux Switch or a separate toggle.
What is the advantage of Amber (Yellow) fog lights?
It's simple science: Glare Reduction. High-intensity white light hits water droplets (fog) or snowflakes and reflects right back into your eyes (the "wall of white" effect). Yellow light has a longer wavelength that penetrates better and causes less eye strain in bad weather. If you live where it snows, go Amber.
Is it hard to install the Triple Fog kit?
Moderate. The brackets bolt directly into the factory bumper locations (no drilling on the Modular bumper). The trickiest part is wiring/cable management. You will be routing wires for 6 lights. If you have the factory Upfitter (Aux) Switches, it’s much easier—you just crimp the harness to the pre-wired leads under the hood.
