Do I need to remove the bumper to install headlights?
Technically, No (but it helps). You definitely have to remove the grille (which is easy). There is one tricky bolt at the bottom of the headlight housing. You can reach it by pulling back the fender liner or using a long extension, but loosening the side of the bumper slightly gives you much more room to work.
Will these lights work if I have the "Base" halogen/LED model?
Yes. This is the most popular upgrade we sell. If your truck didn't come with the "Signature" Halo DRLs, installing a set of Morimoto or AlphaRex lights will add that feature. You typically just have to plug a "Fuse Tap" (included) into your fuse box under the hood to power the DRLs when the truck turns on.
What is the "Startup Sequence"?
Lights like the AlphaRex NOVA and Morimoto XB feature a "Welcome" light show. When you unlock your Bronco with the key fob, the DRLs and projectors will dance/sweep in a specific pattern before staying solid. It’s a pure style flex that makes the truck feel high-tech.
