How do I wire Rock Lights?
Most Rock Light kits come with a central "Controller Box." You mount this box near the battery under the hood. Then, you run a wire from the box to each of the four wheel wells (and secure the lights with screws or zip ties). Finally, you connect the box to the battery and control the colors via a Bluetooth App on your phone.
Will Grille Lights fit my specific grille?
It depends. Most "Raptor Style" amber lights are designed to clip into the Rebel or Honeycomb mesh grilles found on Sport and Laramie models. If you have the standard Horizontal Slat (Billet) grille found on the SLT or Big Horn, there is no mesh to clip onto. You may need to drill small holes or use zip ties to mount them behind the slats.
Is it legal to drive with Rock Lights on?
Check your local laws. In many states, it is illegal to drive on public roads with underbody lighting turned on (especially blue or red colors). Rock lights are primarily designed for Off-Road Use (to see obstacles at night) or for Parking Lot Shows. However, Amber or White grille marker lights are generally legal in all states.
