Will upgrading to LED tail lights cause "Hyper Flash"?
Not if you buy the right premium brand.
"Hyper Flash" (where your turn signals blink incredibly fast) happens because the truck's computer thinks a bulb is burnt out since LEDs draw significantly less power than halogens.
- Premium Brands (AlphaRex / ANZO): These have built-in load resistors to actively prevent hyper flashing. They are entirely plug-and-play.
- Budget Brands: May require you to manually wire an external Load Resistor (usually included in the box) to the metal body behind the tail light.
How exactly do I transfer my factory Blind Spot Sensor?
It is much easier than it sounds.
- Remove the factory tail light from the truck (usually just 2 screws).
- On the back of the factory housing, locate the square plastic module held in by 4 small screws.
- Unscrew it and carefully unplug it.

Plug the harness into the module, slide it into the pre-molded slot inside your new Aftermarket Tail Light, and screw it down securely.

Do standard AlphaRex or ANZO lights fit the RamBox?

The tail light on a RamBox-equipped truck is about 3 inches narrower than the standard bed light to allow the side storage doors to open. None of the standard tail lights will fit a RamBox truck.
