How do I remove the old factory badges?
The safest method is to use a heat gun (or hair dryer) to soften the adhesive, then use fishing line to "saw" behind the emblem. Once the plastic is off, you will be left with a sticky foam residue. We highly recommend using a Rubber Eraser Wheel (on a drill) to remove this residue in seconds without scratching the paint.
Will the black overlays fall off in a car wash?
Not if installed correctly.
- Preparation is key: You must clean the surface with alcohol to remove all wax and grease before applying the overlay.
