Will 35-inch tires rub with new wheels?
It depends on the Offset.
- If you stick to +18mm or +20mm wheels (stock specs), you can fit 35s with just a leveling kit and zero rubbing.
- If you choose -12mm or -44mm wheels (deep dish), the arc of the tire swings wider when you turn. This will rub the front valance and crash bars, requiring trimming even with a leveling kit.
What is the "Load Rating" and why does it matter?
The F350 is a heavy truck. Factory wheels are rated to support approx. 3,590 lbs per corner. Many cheap aftermarket wheels are only rated for 2,500 lbs (standard F150/Chevy 1500 spec).
