Verified Fitment Guide

  • Suspension Tiers (Know Your HOSS):
    • HOSS 1.0 (Base, Big Bend, OBX): Equipped with standard Hitachi shocks. Standard 3" to 4" lift kits or full coilover replacements fit perfectly here.
    • HOSS 2.0 (Badlands, Sasquatch): Equipped with Bilstein remote-reservoir shocks. Warning: These trucks are already lifted from the factory. A "2-inch Lift" designed for a Base model will overextend a Sasquatch. Ensure you select a kit explicitly marked "Sasquatch Compatible."
    • HOSS 3.0 (Wildtrak): Equipped with FOX internal bypass shocks. Requires highly specific fitment.
  • Upper Control Arms (The UCA Rule):
    • Once you lift your Bronco past ~2.5 inches, the factory upper control arm angle becomes too steep, causing the ball joint to bind and preventing a proper alignment. We strongly recommend kits that include aftermarket Tubular or Billet UCAs (from brands like ICON or Zone) to correct your caster and add vital strength.
  • Tire Fitment (35s vs. 37s):
    • 35-Inch Tires: Easily fit with a 2–3" lift on Non-Sasquatch models.
    • 37-Inch Tires: Typically require a 3.5" to 5" lift (Non-Sasquatch) or a 2–3" lift (Sasquatch models). You will also need to remove your factory Crash Bars or install High-Clearance Crash Bars to prevent severe rubbing.
  • Bronco Raptor:
    • Standard Bronco lift kits DO NOT FIT the Bronco Raptor due to its entirely unique shock towers and control arms.
