Verified Fitment Guide

  • Bumper Compatibility (CHECK YOUR BUMPER):
    • Modular Steel Bumper: If you have the factory steel bumper (exposed bolt heads), you have easy access to the frame horns. Look for "Modular Bumper Compatible" hooks.
    • Standard Plastic Bumper: The plastic bumper covers more of the frame. You generally need hooks specifically designed to protrude through the plastic valance openings.
  • Front vs. Rear:
    • Front: Most Broncos come with two front loops. Upgrading to D-Ring Mounts is popular for better safety.
    • Rear: Many trims only come with one rear tow loop (Driver Side). Adding a matching Passenger Side Hook is a top upgrade for balanced pulling.
  • Hook Style:
    • Open Hook: Quick to attach a strap, but the strap can slip off if slack is introduced.
    • Closed Shackle Mount (D-Ring): Requires a D-Ring or Soft Shackle. Much safer because the strap is locked in and cannot fall off during a recovery.
