Can I put tow hooks on my 2WD F-150?
Yes. The frame rails on the 2WD and 4WD are identical. The threaded holes are there. The only barrier is the plastic lower valance (air dam). You simply need to cut openings in the plastic (templates are often available online) or swap the valance for the 4WD part number to expose the frame holes.
