The Banks Power Monster-Ram Intake System Gen-2 fits the 2007-2009 Dodge Ram 3500 6.7L Cummins and replaces the failure-prone factory grid heater with a high-flow intake plate.
It outflows stock by 88.3% for quicker throttle response and better fuel economy.
Product Overview
The Monster-Ram Gen-2 is a direct-replacement intake elbow for the 6.7L Cummins that eliminates the OEM grid heater, a common failure point that can drop into the engine and cause catastrophic damage.
In its place, Banks installs a high-flow coil heater and a larger 3-3/8in inlet with four 1/8in NPT ports for tuning and monitoring. The result is higher boost without increased turbine drive pressure.
It is the only 50-state emissions-compliant Ram intake elbow and uses factory mounting points for a bolt-on install.
