The Cognito Alpha PRO Ball Joint fits the 2020-2025 Chevy Silverado 2500HD and replaces the factory upper ball joint with a bootless, alloy-steel design built for heavy-duty IFS suspension.

Designed for use with Cognito upper control arms.

Pressing the ball joint into the Cognito upper control arm requires a shop press and proper tooling; typically takes 1-2 hours per side, and a professional alignment is required after any suspension modification.

Product Overview

This patented (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) upper ball joint eliminates the traditional dust boot and uses a scraper-type seal to keep contamination out without tear risk.

The internals are alloy steel with alloy races and grease paths -- no plastic liner -- delivering greater pullout strength and longer service life than OEM-style joints.

A carburized, surface-coated taper pin with an oversized sphere provides a precise fit and large contact area, giving the 2020-2025 Silverado 2500HD the durability of a ball joint with the performance of a uni-ball.
