The AMP Research PowerStep Smart Series fits the 2018 Ram 1500 and delivers app-controlled automatic running boards that drop down when you open the door.
Product Overview
This is an electric-powered running board with smartphone integration for iOS and Android. The app lets you manually override the steps to stay up or down and control the integrated LED lighting.
A new step profile matches the chiseled body lines of late-model Ram trucks. An auxiliary port powers additional LED lights, and the system is backed by a 5-year/60,000-mile warranty.
