Product Overview

This is a 46mm monotube front shock built as a direct-fit replacement for lifted 2500-series trucks. The velocity-sensitive digressive piston reacts to changing road input, keeping the front end planted over washboard, expansion joints, and rough two-track.

Bilstein tunes each 5100 application to the specific truck, so the 2014-2018 Ram 2500 valving is dialed for the Ram's front weight bias and suspension geometry. Expect noticeably better ride quality, handling, and control versus worn factory shocks.
