The Cognito Alpha PRO Ball Joint fits the 2011-2014 Chevy Silverado 2500HD and replaces the factory upper ball joint with a heavy-duty, bootless design built for IFS suspension.
It pairs ball joint durability with uni-ball performance for lifted and hard-use trucks.
Product Overview
The Alpha PRO is a patented (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) upper ball joint that ditches the failure-prone dust boot for a scraper-style seal. Internals are alloy steel with alloy races and grease paths -- no plastic liner -- for higher pullout strength and longer life.
A carburized, surface-coated taper pin with an oversized sphere increases contact area in the socket for superior wear resistance. It ships pre-greased with Lithium Complex Grade 2 grease and includes a top grease fitting for periodic service.
Designed for use with Cognito upper control arms on the 2011-2014 Silverado 2500HD IFS front end.
