The Cognito Alpha Ball Joint fits the 2007-2013 Chevy Silverado 1500 and replaces the press-in joint in your Cognito upper control arms. It's built heavy duty but stays serviceable as a wear item.
Product Overview
This is a rebuildable press-in ball joint designed for Cognito upper control arms. The corrosion-resistant zinc-plated housing stays in the control arm, so rebuilds happen without removing the arm from the truck.
Pull the taper pin from the spindle, remove the top cap and internals, then install the rebuild kit components with grease. The rebuild kit includes new alloy races, a taper pin, and a scraper seal.
