The Cognito Alpha Ball Joint fits the 2014-2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 and serves as a heavy-duty, rebuildable replacement for Cognito Upper Control Arms.
It rebuilds in-vehicle, so you skip pulling the control arm off the truck.
Product Overview
This is a press-in ball joint built into a corrosion-resistant zinc plated housing. The housing stays in the control arm during service, making rebuilds quick.
Drop the taper pin from the spindle, pull the top cap, and swap the internals. The rebuild kit includes new alloy races, a taper pin, and a scraper seal.
For T1XX-era Silverado 1500 owners running Cognito UCAs, it keeps front-end maintenance simple and extends the life of your upper control arm investment.
