The Cognito Alpha Ball Joint fits the 2007-2013 GMC Sierra 1500 and replaces the wear-prone OE-style joint in your Cognito upper control arms.
This press-in ball joint is fully rebuildable, so you refresh the joint without removing the control arm from the truck.
Product Overview
Built as a heavy-duty press-in ball joint for Cognito upper control arms, this Alpha joint uses a corrosion-resistant zinc plated housing that stays seated in the control arm during service.
To rebuild, pop the taper pin from the spindle, remove the top cap, and swap the internals. The rebuild kit includes new alloy races, a taper pin, and a scraper seal.
That means less downtime and lower long-term maintenance cost on your GMT900 Sierra 1500 front end.
