The Cognito Alpha Ball Joint fits the 2014-2018 GMC Sierra 1500 and replaces the wear-prone ball joint in Cognito upper control arms with a heavy-duty, rebuildable design.
Product Overview
This press-in ball joint features a zinc-plated, corrosion-resistant housing that stays in the control arm during service.
When wear sets in, rebuild it on the truck without pulling the control arm. Pop the taper pin from the spindle, remove the top cap, swap internals, and reassemble.
The optional rebuild kit includes new alloy races, a taper pin, and a fresh scraper seal — a cleaner solution than replacing the entire joint.
