The Cognito Alpha PRO Ball Joint fits the 2015-2019 Chevy Silverado 3500HD and replaces the upper ball joint with a patented bootless, greaseable design built for IFS suspension.
Use with Cognito upper control arms.
Product Overview
This is a heavy-duty replacement upper ball joint engineered for lifted and high-travel IFS trucks. It uses a scraper-type seal instead of a traditional dust boot, eliminating the most common failure point on factory ball joints.
Internals are alloy steel with alloy races and grease paths -- no plastic liner. The carburized, surface-coated taper pin runs an oversized sphere for maximum contact area, strength, and wear life on the Silverado 3500HD's front end.
Patented under U.S. Pat. 10,731,700.
