The Cognito Alpha PRO Ball Joint fits the 2015-2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD and replaces the factory upper ball joint with a patented bootless, greaseable design built for IFS suspension.
Designed for use with Cognito upper control arms.
Product Overview
This is a heavy-duty upper ball joint that eliminates the traditional dust boot in favor of a scraper-type seal. The result is weather protection without the risk of a torn boot leaking grease.
The internals are alloy steel with alloy races and grease paths, with no plastic liner. A carburized, surface-coated taper pin seats into an oversized sphere for high contact area, strength, and wear resistance on the Sierra 2500HD's IFS front end.
It ships pre-greased with Lithium Complex Grade 2 Grease and includes a top grease fitting for periodic service.
