The Cognito Ball Joint SM Series UCA Builders Kit fits the 2011-2014 Chevy Silverado 3500HD and ships as raw, unassembled upper control arms for custom powder coat and build.

Install Difficulty: Professional Install Only
Replaces factory upper control arms and requires pressing in ball joints and bushings, typically 2-3 hours per side on a vehicle lift. Professional alignment required after installation.

Product Overview

This builders kit lets you finish the arms in your chosen powder coat before pressing in the maintenance-free ball joints and pivot bushings, avoiding damage from stripping a pre-coated arm.

The geometry adds caster and corrects ball joint angle for leveled and lifted Silverado 3500HD trucks. Improved droop travel protects ride quality and extends suspension component life.
