The Fox 2.5 Performance Series Smooth Body IFP Rear Shock fits the 2011-2014 Chevy Silverado 2500HD and is valved for trucks running 4-6in of rear lift. It extends drop-out travel for better off-road articulation while keeping on-road ride quality composed.

Install Difficulty: Professional Install Only
Bolts to factory rear shock mounts with hand tools; typically installs in 45-60 minutes per side. Professional alignment recommended after any suspension modification.

Product Overview

This 2.5in aluminum-body monotube shock uses a race-developed main piston and a true internal floating piston (IFP) to separate gas and oil for fade-resistant damping. The aluminum body dissipates heat up to four times faster than steel, keeping performance consistent on long trails.

Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology smooths the end of the up-stroke, which matters on lifted HD trucks with heavier tires. The shock is fully serviceable and built to handle harsh, corrosive environments.
