The Garrett GT3794VA Stage 1 AVNT Turbo Kit fits the 2004-2006 Chevy Silverado 3500 with the 6.6L Duramax and delivers a direct-fit variable geometry turbo upgrade over the factory unit.

Turbo replacement on the 6.6L Duramax requires removing intake, exhaust, and oil/coolant lines, typically takes 6-8 hours on a vehicle lift, and a professional ECU tune is required to safely calibrate boost and fueling for the new variable geometry turbo.

This Stage 1 turbo replaces the stock LLY/LBZ charger with a Garrett GT3794VA variable nozzle turbine (AVNT) designed for faster spool and stronger top-end airflow.

The variable geometry housing lets the ECU control boost response across the RPM range, improving throttle feel while supporting higher power on the 6.6L Duramax platform.
