The Rancho RS5000X Front Strut fits the 2014-2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 and delivers OEM-style ride quality with improved on- and off-road control.

Install Difficulty: Professional Install Only
Front strut replacement requires a spring compressor and vehicle lift, takes 2-3 hours per side, and a post-install alignment is required after any suspension modification.

Product Overview

The RS5000X is a twin-tube gas strut with a nitro-carburized piston rod and application-specific sintered iron piston for long service life.

Nitrogen is pressurized to 60 PSI to reduce foaming and damping fade. All-weather fluid handles internal temperatures from -40 to 248°F.

Rancho's Cross Tuned valving and Progressive Engagement Valving are custom-tuned per application to soften low-speed impacts while maintaining shock motion control on the Silverado 1500 chassis.
